Rosemary & Pine
Rosemary & Pine - this soap was created with my sons in mind! They have all, at various stages (and in varying degrees) have suffered with spots and acne.
Activated charcoal is renowned for drawing out dirt, toxins and oil from your skin. This means that less oil builds up, so your skin can perform better at combatting breakouts. Another benefit is that activated charcoal creates a mattified effect, opposed to the shiny effect caused by oily skin.
I also thought it would be cool to make a totally black bar of soap but then as a mum, found it less cool when clearing up the mess afterwards!!
Again I have used kaolin for its deep cleansing and gentle exfoliating benefits, also for soaking up that excess shine.
The combination of essential oils have been specifically chosen to not only create a clean, fresh smell but also for their own unique benefits.
Rosemary - has antimicrobial and antiseptic properties, soothing various skin conditions including oily skin and acne.
Pine - when used topically it is reputed to soothe itchiness, inflammation, dryness, control perspiration and protect from minor abrasions. It is also antimicrobial, in a similar vein to tea tree oil.
Peppermint & Spearmint - I have also included this winning double act, again for their excellent cleansing, antibacterial and moisturising benefits. Not to mention the fresh minty scent which blends beautifully with the other essential oils and really ramps up that medicinal clean feel.

Sodium Olivate (Olive), Sodium Cocoate (Coconut), Aqua, Sodium Sheabutterate (Shea), Sodium Castorate (Castor), Glycerin, Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf oil (Rosemary), Pinus Sylvestris oil (Pine), Kaolin, Charcoal Powder, Mentha Piperita oil (Peppermint), Mentha Spicata Herb oil (Spearmint)

All though all efforts have been made to avoid this product having any allergens beyond what is noted on the ingredients, it is handmade and could hold traces of other materials. Use with caution and apply in a small area first if you are concerned and consult a doctor should you have any adverse reactions.
Avoid contact with eyes and if irritation occurs, discontinue use and do not use on
broken or irritated skin.
