Not only does this smell beautiful but rose is a natural astringent, which helps tighten pores and restore suppleness for a glowy complexion. It is reputed to balance the skin and eliminate bacteria due to its antibacterial qualities, helping the skin stay conditioned and soothed.
I have also included French pink clay which helps to improve the skins elasticity, providing a lovely cleansed and refreshed appearance. This clay is known for drawing out impurities, improving elasticity, rejuvenating and purifying - also the added bonus of a pretty pink hue.
Alongside the Rose Geranium essential oil, I have also blended in lavender for its ability to smooth skin tone and reduce wrinkles. Bergamot essential oil which is great for stimulating cell renewal and unclogging pores and finally Clary sage essential oil. This one contains an ester called ‘Linalool acetate’ which helps reduce skin inflammation and soothe the skin. It is also commonly used in aromatherapy to alleviate stress by inducing a sense of well-being.
