Early Spring Raw Cumbrian Honey – 230g Jar
Limit of 1 jar per customer
Thanks to a rare spell of warm, sunny weather, our bees have been busy earlier than usual, gifting us a small but beautiful first harvest of 2025. This is our own raw, unprocessed Cumbrian honey - rich, golden, full of pollen and bursting with the goodness that only spring sunshine and blossom can bring.
We don’t harvest often and our honey is never blended, heated, filtered, or treated in any way. That means every batch is a little different - the colour, texture and flavour all depend on what the bees have been foraging, making each jar truly one-of-a-kind.
You might notice this honey is thicker than the runny supermarket kind - that’s because it’s raw. Raw honey naturally contains tiny bits of pollen and air bubbles and it’s these little bits that give it both its character and its nutritional value. They also make it more likely to crystallise over time (a sign of quality, not spoilage). If you spot a pale layer on top, that’s just “honey foam” - a normal result of trapped air rising after jarring.
This batch is extremely limited and always in high demand, especially from those who find local honey helpful in easing hay fever. To make things simpler and fairer this year, we’re selling it here on the website only and limiting it to one jar per customer.
When it’s gone, it’s gone… until the next flow!

SOLD OUT?
If the honey has disappeared from the shop, it’s likely all gone. We’ll have another small harvest later in the year if the weather (and bees!) allow. Join the newsletter or follow us on socials to hear when it’s back.
