One of the golden rules when burning a candle is always to trim the wick before relighting.  A precise cut ensures a cleaner, safer candle burn and keeping your wood wick trimmed short (5mm) and free from charred bits will ensure it will burn effectively and efficiently, whilst producing the best scent throw.

Remember it’s not the wood fuelling your candle’s flame, it’s the wax. The flame is drawing the wax upwards through the wick, so if it’s not trimmed short and clean, the wax can’t make it to the flame.

Although a sharp pair of scissors will do the trick, our candle wick trimmers feature a perfect handle angle and premeasured foot, both of which are crafted to effortlessly trim any wick to one quarter inch.
