The Classic Jar

We make our candles with a high proportion of natural beeswax, blended with coconut wax to support fragrance diffusion.

Beeswax is a substantial, slow-energy wax that follows its own rhythm. We don’t prioritise an instant melt pool; instead, we favour a tempered burn. This deliberate pace ensures a cleaner, more sophisticated scent release, with the wax gradually reaching the edges of the jar over several sessions.

The classic jar, timeless tortoiseshell tones with understated elegance that suits every space.

Apricot & Saffron: Juicy apricot is warmed by subtle saffron, with almond, cashmere and labdanum adding depth and softness. Bright yet grounded, this fragrance balances fruit and warmth with a little bit of sophistication.

Wild Gorse & Hawthorn: Soft, nutty notes and the coconut-like aroma of gorse are lifted by tiare flower and hawthorn blossom. Sandalwood, vanilla and tonka form a warm, rounded base, creating a layered fragrance with depth.

Bracken: Fresh and green, this is a subtle but atmospheric scent rather than a bold room filler. Bracken opens with soft green notes and a light earthiness, moving into dry woods and soft amber. Moss and patchouli ground the base, creating a natural, understated fragrance that brings the outdoors indoors. Beautifully refreshing.

As with all my candles, they come beautifully gift wrapped in kraft paper and a hand stamped wax seal.

Ingredients
Always place your candle on a level, fire resistant surface and away from draughts. It is advisable to use a candle snuffer to extinguish your candle, this will prevent the liquid wax from splattering and reduce smoke. Before relighting your candle, always remove the charred wood and/or trim your wick to 5mm with a sharp pair of scissors or candle wick trimmers – this encourages your candle to perform to its best, providing a clean burn. Never leave your candle unattended and keep out of reach of children and pets.
Burn for at least 4 hours on the first burn, to allow the melt pool to reach towards the edge of the candle container before extinguishing; this helps to prevent a ‘tunnelling’ effect.
